SWISHING IS BACK!After the success of last year's Swishing Salon, we delighted to welcome it back again in 2010. A place to exchange quality clothing (and therefore encourage recycling over waste), but also a haven of creativity, with craft and dressmaking experts on hand to show you techniques for 'upcycling' clothing and for making your own! Bring up to 5 items of quality clothing to exchange with others, and make a donation to Bliss, the charity who support premature babies and their families.
Other regular features to look out for include:
- The Graduate Showcase
- The Knitted Textile AwardsWe also have several top artists appearing to do
book signings at the event in London, including
Debbie Bliss, Erika Knight, Lan-Anh Bui & Josephine Wan and Nancy Atkinson & Sarah Jane Tavner. Visit the GMC stand G14 for details.
Whatever your passion, the
Galleries at The Knitting and Stitching Shows provide a unique place to see
hundreds of works-of-art under one roof.
