Brother UK

This year marks 100 years since Brother was established and we are delighted to be celebrating at the Festival of Quilts. We will have a collection of limited edition products on show to commemorate our centenary and are looking forward to meeting visitors.
We have seen a major resurgence in quilting during recent years and this event offers inspiration to a wide range of quilters. At last year's Festival, we launched our first dedicated quilting machine - the QC1000 - and this year we will have our resident expert, Anja Townrow, on hand with quilting hints and tips. For more information, visit www.brother.co.uk/quilting. We will also once again be supporting competitions for schools and the Young Quilter/Embroiderer of the Year.
At Brother we are committed to supporting quilters of all ages so we are excited to have the opportunity to support the Quilters' Guild with the children's workshop at The Festival of Quilts and the Guilds new Museum and Resource Centre in York. We wish them every success with this venture.
It's great to be back - we hope you all enjoy what the Festival has to offer and look forward to you visiting us on stand number A1.
City & Guilds

City & Guilds is the largest worldwide provider of craft qualifications. Many of these are in the textiles field where we have four levels available, so there really is something for everyone. You can start with a thirty hour taster course and then progress to a thorough basis of the craft at next level. Level 3 and 3+ extend the candidate up to the level of a master craftsman. All that we do encourages innovation, whilst at the same time basing that upon a thorough understanding of the tradition of the craft. Come and see us at the stand.
