The Festival of Quilts Competitions
The competition entries form a huge part of the Festival of Quilts and attract around 1,000 entries. How can you run a quilt festival without quilts?! To enter a quilt, you should have registered with us by the 2nd May. It is now too late to return your registration form.

If you have already registered, entry forms have been sent by post but you can download the information here. Select the specific competitions in which you want to participate and remember to print our the instructions too. Please re-read the original registration form for a definition of each category.

Don't be confused. Quilt 2008 is not a generic name for the competitions - it's a specific competition aimed at top quilters (but don't let that put you off). To enter Quilt 2008 you must send images of your quilt and a specially selected jury will determine just whose work will be hung in the white wall gallery. Chosen artists will then send in their quilt and the ultimate winner of that category will be selected when the jury reconvenes to look at the real work - not the images.

All other categories are judged at the NEC on the day before the Festival opens.

Here's a hint!! Why not buy a ticket for the Gala Dinner and be part of the drama as the winners are celebrated and Quilt 2008 is announced. Click on Social Events and look out for The Gala Dinner.
