The Best Textile Exhibitions in Europe
Twistedthread organise five exhibitions annually for creative, crafty people who appreciate textile art. The shows (listed on the left) are all open to the public and they each provide a unique visitor experience with great shopping, special features, galleries from professional artists, competitions, workshops, lectures and much more! It's a great day out so join us at Stitch & Craft (London), The Festival of Quilts (NEC Birmingham) and The Knitting and Stitching Shows (London, Dublin and Harrogate).
Masseria della Zingara - choose something special from our programme for 2012 whether you prefer textiles, yoga, cooking or walking and sightseeing
We kick off our textile workshop season with Sandra Meech from 14 - 19 March 2012. Sandra's workshop is entitled Connecting Design to Stitch. Also in spring we are featuring Alicia Merrett from 21-26 March and Cas Holmes 3-8 May. We are also offering a cookery course from 7 - 12 March and walking and sightseeing from 26 April - 1 May. Spring is such a beautiful time in Puglia and now is the time to plan your spring trip!
And the venue, the stunning Masseria della Zingara, a 300 year old farmhouse set in olive groves yet 7km from the sea. Lovingly restored to a very high standard. Our reasonable prices include airport transfers, all food and drink at the Masseria and all teaching and use of our facilities.

The Festival of Quilts 2012
The largest quilt show in Europe. Running for its tenth year in 2012, the show comprises around 1,000 competition quilts on display, galleries from leading international quilt artists and groups, over 200 exhibitors selling specialist patchwork and quilting supplies, plus hundreds of masterclasses, workshops and lectures. Not forgetting the evening events to keep the quilters entertained after the show closes!

Well established as THE textile event of the year, The Knitting and Stitching Show is a feast for the eyes to anyone interested in textiles! If you are passionate about stitching, knitting, quilting, crafts or any other form of textiles you're in the right place! Starting at Alexandra Palace in London, the show travels to Dublin and then finally Harrogate!
